Fire shoot with John Denton, Lotte Saedcantas and Nicola Richards

After working with the Dentons previously we had spoke about doing some creative works together so when John approached me to do a big fire shoot with Lotte I jumped at the opportunity. The very talented Nicola Richards was also involved to do the hair making for a very fun team.

It was a fun packed day full of paint and hairspray.....lots of hairspray!! We started with a toned down version of the end product we had planned, I used red face paints to create the v shape body paint which stopped just around Lotte's jawline, I then got to work on the face creating a flame effect from the eyes. John took some headshots of the makeup and hair then we got to REALLY play, covering Lotte in black paint, Nicola made her hair HUGE! and the makeup was adjusted to carry off such a crazy look. John then did his magic with his camera and the result is phenomenal....

One of my all time favourite looks I have done was created on the fantastic model Bethany Griffin and photography done by Natalia Walton, the outfit was designed and made by Charlotte Tuthill.

Beth had shaved her head to raise money for a cancer charity and we jumped at the opportunity to do a shoot with a bit of a twist. It called for something dramatic and edgy but we wanted to keep it beautiful also.....we began planning the look 2 weeks before and and on the day all involved were very excited to get going.

Using face paints I began to form a mask across the face, then set with black glitter eyeshadow, the studs were stuck on using eyelash glue and facepaints were used for the black lipstick to ensure a durable and solid colour. I used graftobians hd crème foundation specially formulated for photography makeup, this foundation is far too heavy for every day use but looks amazing on camera. The look was simple yet striking and I absolutely love the result.

Last weekend on the 12th of October I took part in driffield farmers festival...the full weekend was set to be a success with acts such as Blue, Peter Andre, Christopher Malone and Mr Bloom performing on stage. I was in the 'treat tent' with the fantastic Natalia Walton, making over catwalk models and taking bookings and enquiries.

The catwalk models looked absolutely amazing, and despite the wet and very windy conditions the day was a great success with lots of people turning out to enjoy the fun day!!!

bridal shoot at rowley manor

On the 9th October 2013 I did the hair and makeup for a bridal shoot at Rowley manor, the photographer was Carmen falkenburg and the dresses were supplied by Kate Rushall from bridal reloved of Beverley.https://www.facebook.com/BridalReloved

Models Sophie Bennett who has a wedding planning company called 'weddings by sophie' and Marilyse Corrigan were amazing as brides, the hair, makeup, dresses and venue were stunning! I cant wait to work with these two again, such professionals!https://www.facebook.com/bespokeweddings

When we arrived to start the shoot, staff at Rowley manor were welcoming and friendly, they made us coffee and their hospitality was second to none. the setting is idyllic and breathtaking. Absolutely perfect for a wedding. The room we were supplied with was equally as stunning and I hope to spend more time making brides over there.

Sophie had a simple but elegant updo and natural makeup that suited her blonde hair and complexion perfectly, marilyse had a more relaxed side curly hairstyle that showed off her fantastic dark mane perfectly and she had slight smokey bridal makeup to suit her dark hair and skin tones. https://www.facebook.com/MakeOverMagicbylouiseshepherd
